Still deciding on a date? Register for the separate free online theory to start learning while you decide. You do not need to do both online courses once you have booked.

Please Note
The free offer covers online theory learning and practice quizzes. Your required BoatSafe theory and practical assessments are booked and paid for separately.
Completing the online lessons does not issue a licence or a Statement of Competency. You must meet the course requirements and pass the required assessments before applying for your licence.
Boat and Jetski Licensing
All of our courses have a theory component and a practical assessment. Students will have access to online training and multiple-choice quizzes and will be given an opportunity to practice manoeuvre prior to the assessment.
Online Theory Training
Our online theory training covers everything you need to know about maritime safety and includes multiple-choice quizzes you can complete to test your knowledge.
Theory Assessment
The theory assessment consists of a closed book exam with 50 multiple-choice questions in a 45 minute test period.
Practical Training
The practical training takes place on board our vessels and covers a variety of tasks and manoeuvres a skipper needs to be able to do.
Practical Assessment
Every student will need to pass a practical assessment without assistance or guidance from the Trainer.
